Can my medications be kept in my room?

Yes, medications can be kept in your bedroom as long as we have a doctors order. Medications can even be self-administered if approved by your doctor. 

Will I have to share a room with anyone else?

No, we have 12 private bedrooms. There are currently no shared rooms. 

My mom is in a wheelchair, can she live at King's Daughters?

No, unfortunately we are a level III facility, meaning that we are forbidden to care for non-ambulatory patients. In order for you or your loved one to be admitted, and meet our level of care, they (you) must not be more than a one assist in activities of daily life such as ambulating, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc. 

What kind of activities are offered? 

We have a broad spectrum of activities that are offered all throughout the week by our activities staff.  Some of these include but are not limited too  crafts, board games, religious services, live performers such as vocalists, morning exercise, outings, bingo, trivia, card games, singing,  flower arranging, manicures/pedicures, holiday events, including birthdays, etc.
